Sending notifications

The app monitors sensor readings and sends alerts to users. Set the monitored values and the recipients of the alerts.

Alerts when certain sensor values are reached have a wide range of applications. For example, are you waiting for the right temperature when applying a spray while wondering about the maximum wind strength? You can set up an alert.

The Alerts page can be found in the CleverFarm app in the main navigation bar, where you can click through to see a list of all current alerts.

Let's use the example of setting an alert for wind speeds above 5 km/h.

Open the new condition using the orange plus button. In the form that subsequently opens, you select the sensor whose values you want to monitor. In this case, it is a weather station with a wind speed measurement module.

Next, you select the variable and its value that is of interest to you. You then need to assign the users who will receive the alerts. In the drop-down menu, you will see the users who are assigned to the account in the CleverFarm application.

After saving the alert, the form will return you to the list of all alerts created so far. You can use the toggle switch at the end of the lines to activate or deactivate these alerts as needed.

If a condition you have set up occurs, you will be notified via email (we plan to use other channels such as sms).
